Symtoms of Mesothelioma


The first known instance establishing the relationship between Mesothilioma and asbestos was only discovered in the late 1960’s. By this time many people had already been exposed to the hazardous material and contracted or spread the disease. Mesothelioma symptoms would take along time to appear and by the time the cancer would be in the advance stages proving to be fatal. If the cancer is of the pleura then cough, blood in the sputum, short breath and chest pain are the usual indicators, whereas weight loss, abnormal blood clots, anemia, fever and abdomen pain are linked to peritoneal mesothilioma. However there are various other and unique symptoms that can only be testified through proper mesothilioma diagnosis.
